Volunteers 2 of 3

2. Join The Club and Feel Good

Like almost every community group, we rely on volunteers to run and oversee the club, without volunteers the club would simply not exist and many young boys and girls would not get the football every week that we provide.

There is no such thing as a stereotypical volunteer, at Waveney F.C. we have volunteers who work in shops, schools, offices, factories, holiday camps, banks, off-shore industry, self employed workers, local authority employees, police officers and many more professions as well as housewives and those who have retired, in fact from almost every walk of life, but the one thing which brings us all together is that we are passionate about football and want to give something back to the local community and in particular to the young people within that community.

Whether you are looking to fill a few hours at the weekend, during the week or make a major contribution, we would love to hear from you.
Listed below are a number of areas in the club that you could get involved in:-

Team Manager Parent Coach Marketing & Promotion Fund Raising Obtaining Sponsorship Press & Communication Social Club Financial Diversity & Community Web Design & Newsletter Catering Grants Co-ordinator Administration Safeguarding

As you can see, there are such a wide range of roles within the club that i am sure we can find a role for you, all we ask is that you can spare some time and energy and enjoy what you are doing.

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer then please contact our Volunteer Co-ordinator - Tracy Briggs via the Club email address and we will get in touch with you to discuss this further. You will be given a clear defined role and get support from the committee members and others within the club.

Please click I am interested in becoming a volunteer and send us details of what area of the club you would like to get involved in and we will get back to you.
