Bright Future

On Thursday evening Waveney Reserves took on Waveney U18s in a in house friendly at Saturn Close. Waveney Reserves were playing their second game in as many days whilst the U18s where playing their first pre-season friendly.

The game was very competitive with both sides getting the ball on the deck and playing good quality football often one or two touch.

Waveney U18s pressed high forcing mistakes and counter attacking with energy and pace coming back twice from 1-0 and 2-1 down to go 4-2 up by the middle of the second half.

It was a good work out for both sides with some good instinctive finishing.

Based on the performance both sides are shaping up well for the season ahead and the future looks very bright for the future of Waveney's senior sides with so many young & talented footballers within the U18s.
