Waveney are pleased to announce that Stewart Larter has accepted the role as joint first team manager and will work alongside George Millington for the start of our second season in The Anglian Combination Premier Division.When Michael King announced that he would be leaving his role as first team coach we identified Stewart as the man for the job. The former Wroxham captain won every honour as a player and as a manager at several local teams most recently at Gorleston were he lifted the Norfolk Senior Cup.After a break of a couple of seasons "Larts" has agreed to join us.After lengthy discussions he was pleased to see that Waveney are ambitious and want to keep on winning trophies and climbing up the league.With Waveney having lifted The Suffolk Senior Cup last May and becoming Division 1 champions we have had a very good season in The Premier Division finishing 5th.Bringing Stewart in shows everyone that we don't intend standing still.We have had great success over the last 4 seasons and look forward to many more with George and Stewart at the helm.
