Getting Ready For Life As A Senior Club

Our first team are getting ready for an historic new season, on and off the pitch, as we prepare for life as a Senior Club in the 1st Division of the Anglian combination for the first time in the Club's history.

The first step, is to retain all of last year's squad and the talented youngsters as well as adding more quality with the Reserves also gaining promotion in there first Anglian Combination season which sees both teams going from strength to strength.

Both teams have moved to their new ground at Saturn Close and plans are in place to improve the facility's pitch and new dugouts to add a professional look to an already impressive set-up.

The team have lined up some tough pre-season games against
Harleston Town (Premier League Anglian Comb.)
Beccles Caxton (Div. 2 Anglian Comb)
Great Yarmouth Town (Div. 1 Thurlow Nunn)
Earsham (Div. 4 Anglian Combination)
Caister F.C. (Premier League Anglian Combination)
Long Stratton (Premier League Anglian Combination)
Oulton Broad (Div. 1 Lowestoft & District League)

We are delighted to announce Ivy House Country Hotel as sponsors of the team which is extremely welcome with the costs for grassroots football continuing to grow and this will allow us to just focus on the football and aim to reach the Premier Division.

With Shaun Swan sadly taking some time out from football we have found a very good coach in Michael King to assist manager George Millington and Rob McKechnie for the coming season.

Training begins next Tuesday at Barnard s meadow 7.30 start. We look forward to meeting old and new players.
