2 days of Presentations ended with 100's of children picking up awards and trophies

The Wherry Hotel in Oulton Broad was once again the venue for the clubs annual end of season presentation awards. Over 1400 players, parents, supporters and sponsors attended 6 events over the weekend of the 10th and 17th May.

Every player who played for Waveney F.C. during the 2013/14 season received a trophy in recognition for representing the club and each team awarded individual trophies to the Supporter player of the season, Players player of the season and the Managers player of the season. Details of these awards are on the team pages of the website.

The club also recognised the excellent work from our volunteers, managers, coaches as they also received trophies, full details below.

Loyalty is a key factor in the clubs philosophy and trophies were handed out to players who had notched up appearances starting at 50 appearances and finishing with a magnificent 750 games by Andy Levett.



Manager of the Year - Brian Wells (U14 Snowleopards, Div. 3 Champions)
Coach of the Year - Peter Sims (U10 Jaguars, SFC Coach and setting up the coaches and development panel)
Referees of the Year - Abbie Everson, Danny Cook & Emily Walker (pictured)
Rory Davies Young Volunteer of the Year Award - Max Davies for volunteering at SFC, Refereeing and member of U15 Tigers)
Brian Gallagher Award - Joseph Meades & Georgia Tiffen for outstanding loyalty and commitment to the club.
Cantonio Thompson Award - Harry Swann, for showing the most promise at mini-soccer
Morris Wood award - Matthew Steele
Contribution to Adult Football - George Millington (Waveney 1st Team)
Volunteer of the year - Jason Dobson (Under 15 Cougars manager, SFC coach, Under 8 Age Group Co-ordinator, referee and anything else we ask him to do)
